Hosted by the Friends President, Stephen Fry, the Friends Dinners have raised more than 6.7 million towards our vital work over the years. The event is held in early summer every year at a prestigious London venue. Past venues have included The Roof Gardens in Kensington, London Hilton on Park Lane, Royal Hospital Chelsea, Grosvenor House, the Tower of London and the Royal Courts of Justice. The 2016 Friends Dinner will be held at Banqueting House on 16 June 2016. On the night guests are greeted by Stephen Fry and treated to a reception, followed by a three-course meal. During the evening there is a speech and appeal by Stephen Fry where guests are invited to make a personal pledge of support to Terrence Higgins Trust. The evening ends with surprise live entertainment. Past performers have included Boy George, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Andy Bell, Heather Small and Elaine Page. The Friends Dinner is an opportunity for our existing Friends and Associate Friends to reaffirm their support, as well a chance for us to welcome new supporters to the Friends family.
