Sarah Pucills films have been shown in galleries and won awards at Festivals internationally. Her commitment to bring the images and voice of Claude Cahun and her partner Suzanne Malherbes s collaborative work into the present as film has led to two feature length films: Magic Mirror (75min, b/w, 2013); and now Confessions To The Mirror (68min, colour, 2016) which premiered at the London Film Festival in October 2016. This film focuses on Cahuns lesser known still life images and her posthumously published incomplete text Confidences au miroir (1945-52), which covers aspects of her childhood and her and Malherbes political activity and imprisonment in Jersey during the Second World War.
